Sun

SUN

The Sun is the star at the center of the solar system. It is almost perfectly spherical and consist of hot plasma inter woven with magnetic fields. It has a diameter of about 1,392,648 km,around 109 times that of the Earth.and its mass(1.989*1030 kilograms, approximately 330/000 times the mass of Earth)accounts for about 99.86% of total mass of the solar system.

Mercury Planet

MERCURY

Mercury is the smallest and closest to the sun of the eight planets in the solar system, with an orbital period of about 88 Earth days, seen from the Earth ,it appears to move around It’s orbit in about 116 days, which is much faster than any other planet. This rapid motion may have led to it being named after the Roman deity Mercury, the fast flying messenger to the gods.

Venus Planet

VENUS

Venus is the second planet from the sun, orbiting it every 224.7 Earth days. The planet is named after the Roman goddess of love and beauty. After the moon,it is the brightest natural object in the night sky, reaching an apparent magnitude of 4.6,bright enough to cast shadows.

Earth Planet

EARTH

Earth is the third planet from the sun, earth, our home planet,is the only planet in our solar system known to harbor life. All of the things we need to survivor are provided under a thin layer of atmosphere that separates us from the uninhabitable void of space.

Mars Planet

MARS

Mars is the fourth planet the sun and the second smallest planet in the solar system. Named after the Roman god of war,it is often described as the “Red Planet” because the iron oxide prevalent on its surface gives it a reddish appearance.Mars is a terrestrial planet with a thin atmosphere, having surface features reminiscent both of the impact craters of the Moon and the volcanoes, valleys, deserts, and polar ice caps of Earth.

Jupiter Planet

JUPITER

Jupiter is the fifth planet from the sun and the largest planet in the solar system. It is a gas giant with mass one thousandth of that of the sun but is two and a half times the mass of all the other planets in the solar system combined. Jupiter is classified as a gas giant along with Saturn,Uranus and Neptune.

Saturn Planet

SATURN

Saturn is the sixth planet from sun and the second largest planet in the solar system, after Jupiter.Named after the Roman god of agriculture.Saturn is a gas giant with an average radius about nine that of Earth.while only one-eighth the average density of Earth, with It’s larger volume Saturn is just over 95 times more massive.

Uranus Planet

URANUS

Uranus is the seventh planet in the solar system in terms of distance from the sun.Uranus is the first planet discovered with a telescope.Uranus is the third largest planet in the solar system.next to Neptune,Uranus is one of the two ice giants in the solar system that has narrow rings.
